I told the guy at the desk what the problem was with my car, but he just keep talking and talking about himself. The guy loves to hear himself speak. In the end, they did a "diagnostic", which was not definitive expecting me to come back and report what happened. instead, I just went to a different shop that actually listens. Problem solved. My sense is that the mechanics here are ok, but the guy at the front desk who takes in all the information brings the place way down.

The first time I went to M Service was back in 1986 or so when I moved to WC from SF and needed to find a place to service my 528. Dante ran the show back then and still does today with the help of Scott and Jim in the front office and many guys turning wrenches in the shop. M Service is the ONLY auto repair service I have ever used for so long and the reasons why are pretty straightforward---quality work at reasonable prices delivered with honesty and enthusiasm. There is never any upsell of services or parts. Your problem gets diagnosed and the options clearly explained to you for YOU to decide. Even though I no longer live in WC, M Service is still my go-to shop for service and repair of my BMWs, MBZs and even a MINI or two. And also for others in my family and my auto enthusiast friends.

MService provides an excellent alternative to the service at the Mercedes dealership. The people are friendly and provide transportation to and from your house. It's a place that I would go back to.
